1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using findmeIRL ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use findmeIRL. By using the App you represent that you are 18 or older.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information during registration.
You may not create more than one account per person.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
Post or transmit illegal, offensive, or deceptive content.
Use the App for commercial solicitation without our written consent.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API or infrastructure.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
Share others' private information without consent.

5. Location and Privacy

The App requires location permission to function. Your exact GPS is never shared with other users — only an obfuscated position (±500–800 m) is visible to others. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (messages, profile information, photos). You grant findmeIRL a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to operate the App. You are solely responsible for content you post.

7. Reporting and Moderation

We provide in-app reporting tools. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We aim to respond to reports within 24 hours.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and code are owned by findmeIRL. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of user profiles, or the outcome of any in-person meeting arranged through the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, findmeIRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages from in-person interactions.

11. Safety

Always exercise personal safety when meeting strangers. Meet in public places, inform someone you trust, and trust your instincts. findmeIRL is not responsible for offline interactions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms at this URL. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where findmeIRL is registered.
